The Salem Polytechnic College is a premier institution carving its name as a center of institution both in academic and extra curricular activities. It was inaugurated by The Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Bharat Ratna Dr.M.G.Ramachandran, in the year 1984 and is being managed by Sengunthar Educational Trust.
